CHICAGO – Police are investigating after five people were shot Monday evening in Chatham.
At around 6:15 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of 92nd Place on the report of a shooting.
Four men, ages 22, 22, 24 and 26 and and a woman, 25, were shot as they were sitting on a porch. One of the 22-year-old men died as a result of the shooting and the other was transported in critical condition.
The other three victims were transported to hopitals in good condition.
Police said a white-colored vehicle drove up as the victims were on the porch and an occupant fired shots in their direction.
