Several displaced as fire engulfs 2 Humboldt Park homes

Several families were displaced but luckily no injuries were reported after a fire raced through two homes early Wednesday morning in Humboldt Park.

The fire erupted about 7 a.m. in the 600 block of North Saint Louis Avenue and spread to a second home, Chicago Fire Department officials said. By 7:10 a.m., the fire was extinguished, fire department spokesperson Larry Langford said.
