The Chicago area will see a warm-up over the next few days, with Thursday’s high forecast to hit 90. But don’t rush to the beach, because the warm weather will be accompanied by a chance of thunderstorms. “Conditions will generally be warming over the next few days with 90s possible on Thursday! There’s also a chance for thunderstorms on Thursday, which may be strong to severe IF they develop,” the National Weather Service office posted on X.
