Looking for Recommendations for Textbooks on Semiconductor Physics and Devices

The textbook I’m currently reading, by the same name “Semiconductor Physics and Devices: Basic Principles” by Donald A. Neamen seems alright, but there are definitely some gaps in there that aren’t explained well-enough, and my instructor isn’t really doing all that well, either. I’m wondering if anyone knows of any good textbooks that are similar, covering topics like the quantum theory of solids, semiconductors in equilibrium, intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors, charge carriers, carrier transport phenomena, and all of that good stuff.

Anyway, if you think of anything, and care to share it, I’d be very grateful!
