What is a DIRECTIONAL NEUTRON SOURCE-MODEL TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3Z

TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3Z is specifically designed to scan suitcases in airports for concealed nuclear materials thus using a flux of neutrons with the minimum possible neutron CPS & energy for evident safety reasons. TEC-­‐DNS producing a high neutron flux can be designed and manufactured on demand.

DESCRIPTION TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3Z is an equipment producing on demand neutrons synthesized from a commercially available hydrogen gas via a new process based on a high voltage DC discharge between a pairof submerged electrodes (International patent pending).

Neutrons are produced predominantly in the desired direction with the desired flow and energy. The directionality of the neutron flux is achieved by flowing the hydrogen through its synthesizing process. The desired values of the neutron flux and energy are obtained via the control of the hydrogen pressure, the control of the voltage of the synthesizing process and the control of the energy of the discharge. TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3Z is specifically designed to produce neutrons with “low energy and flux” so as to allow the use of the equipment in areas open to the public with proper shielding and remote controls. Neutron sources with high flux and energy can be produced on demand. TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3Zincludes a special chamber for the research on irradiations.

The primary uses of TEC-­‐DNS-­‐3 Z are: university and corporate laboratories for research; detection in airports of concealed nuclear material *(Uranium 235 etc.) via the detection of the disintegration of some of their nuclei caused by neutron irradiation; identification of the presence and concentration of precious metals in mining operations via the detection of gammas emitted in their transmutation; scanning of large naval welds; and other applications.

Mankind has been unable to achieve the controlled fusion at both low and high energies despite the investment of billions of dollars of public funds because nuclei are positively charged, thus experiencing a Coulomb repulsion that acquires astronomical values at the nuclear distance needed for the fusion (see Figure 1).

The importance of Dr. Santilli’s discovery is that being negatively charged, pseudoprotons and pseudonuclei are attracted by nuclei, thus resolving the historical Coulomb barrier. In fact, pseudoproton irradiation caused the nuclear transmutation of selected light, stable and natural elements into light, stable and natural elements with a smaller atomic number, while pseudonuclei irradiation of selected elements causes basically novel nuclear fusion.

In all cases, there is the emission of thermal energy without a release of neutrons or other harmful radiation or the release of radioactive waste. The World Of Hadronic Physics!

In continuation of the new mathematics discussed in the preceding special issue entitled Foundations of Hadronic Mathematics, we recall that the Italian-American scientist R. M. Santilli proposed in 1978 the construction of a covering of quantum mechanics called hadronic mechanics, which is solely valid at mutual distances of one Fermi while recovering quantum mechanics identically and uniquely at larger mutual distances.
